A. Hearan, 912 East Main street, about 2:40 o'clock yesterday morning. The man arrived from Ohio about 6 o'clock that night and immediately went to the house for board and lodging. He had to be helped in the house and told Mrs. Hearan that he had suffered a stroke of paralysis on the right side some time ago, which caused him to limp. He was taken ill about 1:30 o'clock and word was sent to police headquarters and the patrol wagon had gone to the house to take him to St. Vincent's hospital, whe he expired. Coroner Kight was notified and, after giving a certificate of death due to natural causes, turned the body over to an undertaker. A brother of the dead man, Genie Gray, who lives on Twenty-seventh street in this city, is on a visit to relatives at Blue Ridge for the Christmas holidays, and the police have been unable to notify him of his brother's death.
