Virginian-Pilot November 18, 1955
Thomas Branchley Gray, 77, of 3001 Colonial Avenue, died yesterday at 10:30 p.m. 
in a Norfolk hospital.
A native of Moyock, N.C., he had been a resident of Norfolk for 43 years. His 
parents were John F. and Mrs. Ann Doxey Gray. He was employed by the Republic 
Creosoting Company for the past 16 years.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nan Cooper Gray; one son, Myron Tebault Gray, of 
Portsmouth; one sister, Mrs. Zeta Powers, of Northwest, and five grandchildren, 
Nancy Carolyn, John Warren, Linda Sue, Margaret Ann and Myron Tebault Gray, Jr., 
all of Portsmouth.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Hollomon-Brown 
Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
