Virginian Pilot August 7, 1908 

Arthur Thomas Gray, 26 years old, and a native of Columbia County, Ga., died 
yesterday morning at 5 o'clock at his home, 319 Liberty Street, after a brief 
illness from malarial fever.
He had been a resident of Berkley Ward nearly a year, and is survived by a 
wife, one small child and a father, Newton Gray, who is here to attend the 
funeral, which will be conducted from the residence this afternoon at 5 
o'clock, with Rev. T. McN. Simpson, D.D., officiating and the interment will 
be in Magnolia Cemetery.
