Norfolk Virginian Pilot March 16, 1940

Mrs. Maggie Amelia Gray, aged 77, died at her residence, 634 Woodis Avenue, 
yesterday morning at 2:35 o'clock. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary 
Lee Duggan and Mrs. Otis J. Hurst, both of Norfolk; a son, Milton A. Scott, of 
Cleveland, Ohio; 15 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a niece and several 
nephews. Mrs. Gray was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk and a charter 
member of Knox Presbyterian Church, but recently had been a member of the Second 
Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow 
afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

15th, 1940, at 2:35 o'clock, MAGGIE AMELIA GRAY, in the 78th year of her age. 
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home SUNDAY 
AFTERNOON, March 17th, 1940, at 2 o'clock. Friends of the family invited to 
attend. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
