CHESAPEAKE - Catherine C. Gray, 73, of the 2000 block of Stalham Road, died Oct. 
31, 1988, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Gray, a native of Norfolk, is survived by her husband, John H. Gray; six 
daughters, Eleanora Harrison, Catherine Suban, Mary Jantti and Brenda Petty, all 
of Norfolk, Irene Isidoro of Virginia Beach and Christine Jarvis of Chesapeake; 
four sons, John Denson of Ohio and Ernest Denson, John E. Gray and Alfred Denson, 
all of Chesapeake; a sister, Alice James of Chesapeake; two brothers, Claude 
Burrell of Georgia and Charles Burrell of Virginia Beach; 23 grandchildren; and 14 
great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 
Norfolk, by the Rev. John J. Dorgan. Friends may join the family in the funeral 
home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
