Norfolk Journal and Guide,Nov 12,1938
Mrs. Josephine Gray, 59, of 1129 Percy Street, died in a local hospital October 27 
and her funeral was held at Hale’s Chapel with Father J. B. Albert officiating 
October 31.  Mrs. Gray was a retired teacher, who was born in Wilmington, NC, and 
lived here for 25 years.  She is survived by two sons.  Interment in Elmwood 
Cemetery.  (West Point Cemetery).
