Gray died at St. Vincent's Hospital at 6 p.m. yesterday. He was a native of Michigan, but had resided in Norfolk for the past seventeen years, connected with the Fosburg Lumber Company. He is survived by a widow and one daughter. The funeral arrangements will be announced later. *********************************************************************** The funeral of Roderick T. Gray was held at St. Mary’s Catholic church at 10 a.m. yesterday and was largely attended. The service was conducted by Rev. Father John Doherty, pastor of the church. During the services, Mrs. James Hughes sang, “O, Salutarus” and, as the casket was borne from the edifice, she sang “Lead, Kindly Light.” Among the wealth of floral tributes were handsome designs from the Fosburg Lumber Company and from No. 5 and No. 11 Hives of Maccabees. The interment was in St. Mary’s cemetery. The following were the pallbearers: R. B. Duncan, J. Mebarge, Joseph Boulet, J. Mayer, S. S. Paxson, C. M. Reilly, John M. Gibbs, L. F. Borrowdale.
