Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark September 12, 1926

Mrs. Mary Agnes Gray, aged 48 years, wife of Charles G. Gray and daughter of 
Michael W. and the late Mrs. Winifred Colleen Curry, died yesterday afternoon at 
1:35 o'clock at the residence, 111 West Seventeenth Street. She was a native of 
Staten Island, N.Y. and had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 27 years. 
Besides her husband and father, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. James O'C. 
Mackey; one son, Joseph C. Gray; two grandchildren, James O'C. Mackey, Jr. and 
Joseph C. Gray, Jr. all of Norfolk and two brothers, Thomas F. and William J. 
Curry of Staten Island, N.Y. Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery.

GRAY, MARY AGNES - At the residence, No. 111 W. Seventeenth street, Saturday, 
September 11th, 1926, at 1:35 o'clock p.m., MARY AGNES, wife of Charles G. Gray, 
and daughter of Michael W. and the late Winifred Colleen Curry, in the 49th year 
of her age.
Funeral services at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, TUESDAY MORNING, at 10 
o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.
