Virginian Pilot September 2, 1910

Chas. C. Gray died at his home, 63 High Street, at 6:55 a.m. yesterday, after a 
lingering illness, in the 49th year of his age. He is survived by a widow, one 
son, Chas. W. Gray and a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Norfleet, all of Norfolk. He was 
a member of the Junior Order of American Mechanics. The funeral will be held from 
his late residence at 4 o'clock p.m. Saturday and will be conducted by Rev. E.P. 
Miner, of St. Luke's Episcopal Church. The interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
