Norfolk Ledger Dispatch November 3, 1926

Mrs. Nannie Pinner Gray, aged 71 years, died yesterday afternoon at 12:05 
o'clock at the residence of her son, Eugene F. Gray, Westmount Apartment, 
Omohundro Avenue and Thirty-sixth Street, Norfolk. She was born in Suffolk, a 
daughter of the late John and Mrs. Marriba Duke Pinner, but had lived here for 
fifty-two years. She was the widow of J.O. Gray and is survived by one daughter, 
Mrs. T.B. Kelley; two sons, Fred J. and Eugene F. Gray; one sister, Mrs. 
Catherine Hughes and four grandchildren, all of this section.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home of E. Lee Cox, 124 East 
Berkley Avenue, tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock by the Rev. C.S. Sawyer, pastor 
of the South Norfolk Baptist Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be 
in Magnolia Cemetery.

at 12:05 o'clock, MRS. NANNIE PINNER GRAY, widow of the late J.O. Gray and 
daughter of the late John and Mrs. Marriba Duke Pinner, of Suffolk, Va., aged 71 
years 2 months and 19 days.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home of E. Lee Cox, 124 E. 
Berkley Avenue, THURSDAY AFTERNOONN at 4 o'clock.  Friends are invited.  Burial 
will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery.
