Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark December 29, 1928

Joseph Greco, aged 74 years, died yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at a local 
hospital. He was a native of Italy and had been a resident of Norfolk for 35 
years, residing at 1300 Brambleton Avenue. Besides his wife, Mrs. Teresa Greco, 
he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Jennie Papa; one son, Antonio Greco; 15 
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Remains were removed to H.D Oliver's 
Funeral Apartments, 610-612 East Freemason Street, pending funeral arrangements.

GRECO, JOSEPH - At a local hospital, Friday, December 28, 1928, at 2:30 o'clock 
p.m., JOSEPH GRECO, in the seventy-fifth year of his age.
Remains will be taken from the residence of his son, Antonio Greco, 624 
Reservoir avenue, to St. Mary’s Catholic Church for funeral services MONDAY 
MORNING at 10 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, 
St. Mary’s Cemetery.
