Mr. Green, a veteran of World War 1, died Sept. 3 at his home at 1500 Corprew avenue. Elder Samuel A. Wilson officiated at the funeral. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery under direction of Graves Funeral Home. Mr. Green was a native of Scotland Neck, NC. A 33rd degree Mason, he was a member of Arabia temple of Shriners and Eastern Light lodge. Fraternal rites were held for him Saturday night at the funeral home, and military honors were accorded him at the cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gladys Green; and two brothers, George Green of Camden, NJ, and Edward Clark of Portsmouth.
