Norfolk - Last rites were held recently for Mrs. Fannie E. Green of 715 Lincoln 
street in Greater Metropolitan Church.  The Rev. Jackson A. Brown, pastor, 
officiated.

A native of Hertford, NC, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Mrs. 
Penelope Gilliam.

At Greater Metropolitan Church, she was a member of the usher board and the 
Willing Workers.  She was also a member of Greater Temple No. 1A.

Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Agnes Manning of Norfolk.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.
