Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, October 8, 1992 
Freddie Robert Green of the 2600 block of Omohundro Ave., died Oct. 5, 1992, in
a hospital.

Mr. Green was born in Norfolk and was a member of Progressive Masonic Lodge 80.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys Mae Green; three daughters, Linda Green and
Velma Green, both of Norfolk, and Doris Joyner of New York City; two sons,
Joseph Green of Norfolk and Robert Green of Copperas Cove, Texas; six sisters,
Ruby Green and Esther Whitaker, both of Jersey City, N.J., Rosalee Burton and
Tina Whitaker, both of New York City, Dorothy Etheridge of Chesapeake and Louise
Green of Portsmouth; and a brother, Ricky Green of Chesapeake.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in Hale Funeral Home by the Rev.
J.L. Kearney Sr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join the
family at the residence.
