She was born in Norfolk, a daughter of Capt. R.E. Wood and the late Mrs. Ella Sears Wood, but had lived in Milwaukee for 10 years. In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, J. D. Green; a half sister, Mrs. D.K. Purdy, of Cradock; a half brother, T.B. Hudgins of Providence, R.I.; four aunts, Mrs. C.C. Sivils, Mrs. Patty Barnett, Mrs. Thomas Spruill and Mrs Charles Etheridge; four uncles, Capt. J.D. Wood, Capt. P.M. Wood, Capt. E.S. Wood, all of this section and Capt. S. F. Wood, of New York City. The body was taken to the funeral home of E. Lee Cox, 124 East Berkley avenue, where funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery.
