Virginian-Pilot April 16, 1946
Ashby B. Green, 72, a former resident of Norfolk, died at his residence in Eustis, 
Fla., yesterday after a brief illness. Prior to leaving Norfolk about ten years 
ago to make his home in Florida, he was connected with the Baugh Company and was 
active in the Norfolk Lodge No. 38, B.P.O.E.
A son of the late Capt. W. W. and Mrs. Pocahontas Baytop Green, Mr. Green is 
survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Avery Green, and two sisters, Miss Caroline 
Green and Mrs. Dan Hall, both of Norfolk.
