Mary T. Green, 85, of the 800 block of First Colonial Road, a resident of First 
Colonial Inn, died Jan. 13, 1994, in Virginia Beach.

Miss Green, a native of Norfolk, was a 1927 graduate of St. Mary's Academy in 
Norfolk. She was a member of Church of the Holy Family and was retired from 
Peebles Chemical Co., Norfolk, as office manager.

She is survived by three sisters, Elizabeth Green Smelser and Gertrude Green 
Barry, both of Virginia Beach, and Martha Green Desgain of Norfolk; one brother, 
John E. Green of Buxton, N.C.; two nieces and 13 nephews.

A funeral Mass will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Church of the Holy Family 
by Father Richard Mooney. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Norfolk. A 
Christian wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral 
Home, Great Neck Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be 
made to St. Mary 's Infant Home, Norfolk.
