The Virginian Pilot Monday May 6, 1985
Norfolk - Elizabeth Odessa Green of 2925 Mapleton Ave., a native of Edenton, NC,
and the widow of Isham Green Sr., died Saturday in a hospital.

She was a member of C. H. Mason Memorial Church of God in Christ.

Survivors include three daughters, Evelyn L. Newby, Joan R. Brown and Shirley
Askew, all of Norfolk;  a son, Isham Green Jr. of Chesapeake;  a brother,
William Henry Davis of Norfolk;  six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in C. H. Mason Memorial Church
of God in Christ by the Rev. David Williams.  Burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery, with Hale Funeral Home in charge.  The body will be taken to the
church at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.  The family will be at her home.
