 Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, April 17, 2002 
Wilford L. Green of the 700 block of W. 28th St., died April 13, 2002.

Born in Oriental, N.C., Mr. Green was the son of Phil Dozier and Annie Green. He
retired as a longshoreman from the International Longshoreman Association in 1962.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy P. Green; two daughters, Joyce Felder and
Terry Green; a son, Wilford Green Jr.; a brother, Curtis Green; 12
grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins
and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Riddick Funeral Service by the
Rev. Tyrone Johnson. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The family will
receive friends at the residence. Viewing will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday
at the funeral home.
