Miss Bertha Green, 47, of 865 Goff St., died Monday afternoon in a Wilmington,
DE, hospital after a long illness.

She was a daughter of the late Robert and Mrs. Ruth Green, and a native of
Norfolk. She resided at Milton, DE, the last six years, where she was employed
by John S. Isaacs and Son.

Surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Mamie Davis, Mrs. Susie Woodson, Mrs. Laura
Skinner, Miss Cora Lee Green and Mrs. Lillian Green, all of Norfolk; two
brothers, Robert Green and Herbert Green, also of Norfolk; two nieces and two
nephews.

The body will be brought to the Hale Funeral Home, where funeral services will
be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the family plot in Calvary
Cemetery.
