In Memoriam of Helen Massenburg Green

Three years ago you went to heaven,
As a shining angel to dwell,
Walk the golden streets forever,
How we miss you no words can tell.

The guiding star every day,
Will keep your feet from going astray
As we linger here on earth,
We’ll never, no never forget your birth.

Oh, how sad to a mother’s heart,
When from her child she has to part,
But we will meet on the golden strand,
And join the holy angels’ band.

With the visions of a far
We can see the heavenly star,
And someday will join the choir
With our heavenly angel star.

Died January 27,1926
