Miss Lillian Green, daughter of Mrs. Bettie L. Green of Berkley, died at a local 
hospital Tuesday, Nov. 14 after a short illness. Funeral services were held Sunday 
at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Lee Freeman officiating. She graduated 
from Booker T. Washington High School in February 1944 and at the time of her 
death attended the Norfolk Division of Virginia State College.
