Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, June 19, 1990 
Clarence L. Greene, a retired longshoreman, died June 16, 1990, in a hospital.

Mr. Greene, a native of New Bern, N.C., was a member of International
Longshoreman's Association, Local 1248. He was a member of First Calvary Baptist
Church and St. Paul Masonic Lodge 71. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Muriel Greene of Norfolk; a daughter, Geraldine
McNeil of Chesapeake; two sisters, Carrie Wray of Chesapeake and Minnie Burnside
of Norfolk; three brothers, Wilford Greene of Norfolk, James Greene of Oriental,
N.C., and Curtis Greene of New Bern; and three grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in First Calvary Baptist Church by
the Rev. Calvin James. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join the
family at the residence. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
