Norfolk - Mrs. Lillie M. Greene, a native of Moyock, NC, and the widow of 
Sherman Greene, died in a hospital August 28.

She was the daughter of Isaac and Mrs. Matilda McDonald Tillet, and held 
membership in the First Calvary Baptist Church.

She was a former North Carolina schoolteacher.

She attended Norfolk Mission College, Roanoke Institute, and Elizabeth City 
State University.

Among the survivors are two sons, I. Sherman Greene of Norfolk and Haywood 
Greene of New York;  and one brother, Rev. J. E. Tillet of Edenton, NC.

Services were held in the First Calvary Baptist Church by the Rev. R. L. 
Edler, and burial was in the Calvary Cemetery.  B. F. King Funeral Home was 
in charge of the arrangements.
