Mrs. Bell Ransome Greene of 2404 Middle street, died at a Norfolk hospital 
Sunday, Oct. 2, after a six-week illness. 
Funral services were held at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, with the Rev. H. T. 
Myers, pastor, officiating, Thursday, Oct. 6, at 2 p.m.  Hale Funeral Home 
was in charge.  Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.

The 65 year old Mrs. Greene was president of the Missionary Society of the 
church where she had been active many years.  She was a well-known caterer.

Mrs. Greene is survived by her husband, George Greene.
