Norfolk - Last rites were conducted recently for Mrs. Maude Belle Greene of 209
W. 34th street in Union Congregational Church.  J. M. Copeland officiated.

A native of Ellenboro, NC, she was the wife of James E. Greene and a daughter of
the Late Govan and Mrs. Ola Smith.

She leaves four brothers, Robert Logan and Willie E. Smith of Norfolk and James
and Charlie Logan of New York, and two sisters, Mrs. Ophelia Lewis of
Rutherfordton NC, and Mrs. Hester Noel of Chicago.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Chapel in charge.
