A native of New York, he had lived in Norfolk the last 5 years. He was the husband of Mrs. Shirley Bell Greenspan. He was retired from Madison Detective Agency, N.Y. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and Lay Franciscan of the 3rd Order, Norfolk. Besides his widow, survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. Rose Lockyer, Mrs. Lillian White and Miss Corrine Greenspan, all of Norfolk, Mrs. Miriam Caleca, Mrs. Laura Bassile and Mrs. Marsha Ranieri, all of New York and Mrs. Eleanor Jodkiewicz of Chesapeake; two brothers, Abraham Greenspan of North Miami Beach, Fla. and Nathan Greenspan of New York, 20 grandchildren and a great grandchild. A Joyful Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
