Norfolk Ledger Dispatch May 26, 1908

Mr. and Mrs. John T. Gregory, of 315 Liberty Street, lost by death last night 
their seven-month-old daughter, Mattie Evelyn, after a brief illness. The 
funeral will take place tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock in Elmwood Cemetery, 
Norfolk.

The funeral of little Mattie Evelyn, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John T. 
Gregory, of 313 Liberty Street, who died yesterday, took place this morning at 
10 o'clock in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, and was conducted by the Rev. T. McN. 
Simpson, pastor of Memorial M.E. Church.
