Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark December 14, 1930
Mrs. Maggie Strawhand Gregory, a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, died 
last night at 10:15 o'clock at the residence, 322 Fairfax Avenue.  She is 
survived by her husband, George B. Gregory; one son, Irdell P. Gregory; one 
daughter, Mrs. Scott Holman, of Chicago, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. John H. Branton; 
three brothers, B.F. and T.L. Strawhand, all of Norfolk and W.H. Strawhand, of 
Plant City, Fla.
The body was taken to the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartment, 610-12 East Freemason 
Street, pending funeral arrangements.

Mrs. Maggie Strawhand Gregory - Funeral services for Mrs. Gregory, wife of 
George B. Gregory, whose death occurred Saturday night, will be held at H.D. 
Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason Street, tomorrow at 12 
o'clock noon, with the Rev. T.A. Smoot, D.D., pastor of Epworth M.E. Church, 
officiating.  Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
