Elda Virginia Gregory, 86, of the 2200 block of Hampton Blvd., a retired 
secretary, died July 11, 1993, in her home.

Miss Gregory, a native of Norfolk, was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in 
Norfolk. She was a former secretary with the Virginian Railway and the Law Office 
of Marshall T. Bohannon.

Survivors include a sister, Thelma Gregory Durham of Virginia Beach; and several 
nieces and nephews, Dorothy B. Battles of Norfolk, Joseph Russo of Portsmouth, 
Anna Lee Perrot of Nags Head, N.C., E.B. Durham Jr. of Virginia Beach, Betty D. 
Bailey of Bradenton, Fla., and Harriet D. Batchelor of Carrollton, Texas.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church by the Rev. John J. Dorgan. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. The 
family will receive friends at the home of Thelma G. Durham, 1484 Reynard Drive, 
Virginia Beach.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apts., Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
