Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, November 22, 1997 
Alice ``Zek'' Gregory quietly and peacefully departed this life on Saturday,
Nov. 15, 1997, at Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital.

A Norfolk native, she was a devoted wife to the late Burt Gregory. She was
predeceased by her daughter, Ruth Sutton. She was a devoted member of Garrett
Community Church for 40 years.

Survivors include three nieces, Devonne Taylor of Norfolk, Donnesse Roundtree of
Virginia Beach and Cynthia Cleveland of Norfolk; two nephews, Fred Roundtree and
Frederick Roundtree, both of Norfolk; 10 great-nephews; a close and devoted
friend, Danie Taylor of Norfolk; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Garrett Community Church by the
Rev. Reid. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery . Hale Funeral Home is in charge.
