VIRGINIA BEACH - Mary Elizabeth McLaughlin Gregory, of 2121 Windward Shore Drive, 
the widow of James Haid Gregory and a retired librarian of the Norfolk public 
schools system, died Monday in a Norfolk hospital.
A native of Norfolk, she was a lifelong area resident.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary G. Supan of Norfolk; two sons, James H.	 
Gregory Jr. and Richard McLaughlin Gregory of Virginia Beach; a sister, Mrs. Guy 
Webb Jr. of Rockville, Md.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A Joyful Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m. today in the 
Catholic Church of the Holy Family by the Rev. Fr. Paul T. Gaughan. Interment will 
be private. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road, has charge. Memorial 
donations may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital.
