Norfolk - Mrs. Martha T. Gregory, of 707 Washington avenue, died in a hospital 
recently.

A native of Norfolk, she was the widow of John Gregory and a daughter of the 
late John B. and Mrs. Mary W. Thomas. She was a member of the Church of God in 
Christ.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Deloris T. Perry and Mrs. Viola Thomas, and a 
brother, Clarence Thomas, all of Norfolk; a grandchild; and three great-
grandchildren.

A funeral was held in the Church of God in Christ, 1000 E. 26th street, by 
Bishop Levi Willis. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in 
charge.
