Norfolk Virginian Pilot February 23, 1954

Mrs. Lillie A. Greico, 72, widow of Anthony Greico and daughter of William F. 
and Mrs. Margaret Hayes, a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, died Sunday 
at 9:50 p.m. at the residence, 623 Reservoir Avenue.
Surviving are seven daughters, Miss Angelina E. Greico, of Portsmouth; Mrs. Rose 
Ventura, of Philadelphia; Mrs. Sadie V. Wood, of Norfolk; Mrs. Mary Frost, of 
Norfolk; Mrs. Elsie Pledger, of Baltimore; Mrs. Theresa Merrinelli, of 
Levittown, Long Island, N.Y. and Mrs. Louise Whitson, of Roanoke; six sons, 
Joseph Greico, of California; Johnny Greico, of Elizabeth City, N.C.; Frank 
Greico, of Baltimore; Tony Greico, of San Francisco, Calif.; Vincent Greico, of 
Baltimore and William Greico, of Levittown; 36 grandchildren; six great-
grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Liapis, of Norfolk and Mrs. Ethel 
Andrews, of Baltimore and a brother, Walter Walter Hayes, of Washington.
The body was removed to the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.

MRS. LILLIE A. GREICO - The body of Mrs. Greico, widow of Anthony Greico, who 
died Sunday night at  the residence, 624 Reservoir Avenue, will be taken from 
the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to St. Mary's Catholic Church for funeral 
services tomorrow at  10 a.m.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.  Rosary 
services will be conducted at the funeral apartments today at 7:30 p.m.
