The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Thursday February 12, 1931
Mrs. Emma Maigne Gresham, aged 78 years, widow of S.S. Gresham, Jr., and 
daughter of the late Henry Jordan and Janie Basham Maigne, died at 4:15 
o'clock yesterday morning at the residence, Runnymede road, Meadowbrook.  
She was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk and is survived by one 
daughter, Mrs. F. Garnett Jordan; two sons, William S. Gresham and G. Brooke 
Gresham; two grandchildren, Fenton Garnett Jordan, Jr., and Rosalie Gresham, 
all of Norfolk.  Funeral services will be held at the above residence 
tomorrow at 12 o'clock noon, with the Rev. Richard W. Trapnell, D.D., rector 
of the Church of the Good Shepherd, officiating.  Interment will be private 
in Elmwood Cemetery.
