GRESSETT - At the Norfolk Protestant Hospital, Sunday, May 19, 1907, JOHN 
GRESSETT, in the 59th year of his age.
The funeral will take place from the residence of his son-in-law, Mr. Joseph T. 
Anderson, 426 Colley Avenue, THIS (Tuesday) AFTERNOON, May 21, at 3 o'clock. 
Friends and acquaintances respectfully invited to attend.

John Gressett, who lost one of his feet in a street car accident in Norfolk, 
Christmas Eve last, died at the Norfolk Protestant Hospital at 10 o'clock Sunday 
morning, in the 59th year of his age. The deceased had been a resident of this 
city for many years where he was well known and highly esteemed. He is survived 
by three daughters, Mrs. Bray Walters, Mrs. Joseph Anderson and Mrs. Hargrove. 
The funeral will be held from the residence of his son-in-law, Joseph Anderson, 
426 Colley Avenue, at 3 o'clock this afternoon and will be conducted by Rev. 
R.A. Roberson, of Colley Memorial Presbyterian Church.
