Norfolk - Ralph D. Grier, Sr. of 702 Sewells Point road, the husband of Mrs. 
Elizabeth Grier died in a hospital.  A native of Norfolk, he was a son of Fred 
and Mrs. Thelma (Grier) Bonds.

He worked for Norfolk & Western Railway.

He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Besides his widow and parents, surviving are two sons, Ralph D. Grier Jr., and 
Jay Anthony Grier, and a daughter, Anita Grier, all of Norfolk;  three brothers, 
Fred Bonds of Washington, Larry Bonds, and Michale Bonds of Norfolk;  and three 
sisters, Mrs. Barbara Edwards, Miss Celestine Bonds and Jacqueline Bonds of 
Norfolk.

Graves Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
