The funeral of John Griffin, 39, of 333 Nicholson St., who died at his home 
Saturday, December 7, was held from Hale’s Chapel with the Rev. W. H. Austin 
officiating Tuesday, December 10. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Hattie 
Griffin; two sons, John Jr., and Moses Griffin; one daughter, Miss Annie Mae 
Griffin. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
