Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark December 7, 1928

Mrs. Fannie Grant Griffin, age 80, died yesterday morning at 5:35 o'clock at 
her residence, 2729 Kimball Terrace.  Mrs. Griffin, a native of Richmond, 
had lived in Norfolk 35 years and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.  
She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. J.E. Brown, Mrs. M.F. O'Brien, Mrs. 
Wilson Dozier, Mrs. W.E. Smith and Mrs. T.W. Sanderlin, of Norfolk and Mrs. 
Robert Webster, of Long Beach, Cal.; a son, Clarence Griffin, of Norfolk; a 
sister, Mrs. Julia A. Grant, of Richmond, 18 grandchildren and six great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the residence tomorrow afternoon at 2 
o'clock.  Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
