Virginia Pilot October 31, 1910

Walter Franklin Griffin, a native of Gloucester county, Va. and a respected 
citizen of Berkley ward, died yesterday morning at 7:35 o'clock at the family 
residence, 368 South Main street, after an illness of four months.
The deceased had been a resident fifteen years and was held in high esteem by a 
large circle of friends.
He was a son of Mrs. Martha L. Griffin and the late R.F. Griffin and is survived 
by a wife and one child and brothers and sisters--M.B., C.P., and H.C. Griffin, 
Mrs. F.A Watts, Mrs. Geo. Watts, Mrs. William Swart.
The funeral will be conducted from Berkley Avenue Baptist Church Tuesday 
afternoon at 3:30 o'clock.  Rev. W.A. Smith, pastor of the church, will 
officiate and the interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
