Norfolk - Mrs. Clara Griffin, 93, of 747 Fremont St. died Thursday at 815 Park
Ave. after a long illness.

A native of Southampton County, she was a daughter of Samuel and Mrs. Annagie
Hines and the widow of Junius Griffin.

She lived in Norfolk 60 years and was a member of Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church.

Surviving are a son, Oliver Griffin, and a sister, Mrs. Bezella Williams, both
of Norfolk.

They body was taken to Graves Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held in
Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church Sunday at 12:45 p.m. by the Rev. R. A. Councill.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
