GRIFFITH, REV. JOHN HAMMOND — At Woodstock, Va., Sunday, September 10, 1939, at 
12:30 o'clock p.m., REV. JOHN HAMMOND GRIFFITH, husband of Mrs. Daisy Griffith, 
and son of the late John H., and Mrs. Eugenia Whitehurst Griffith, in the 69th 
year of his age.
Services at the chapel of the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, No. 1501 Colonial 
avenue, Norfolk, Va., THIS (Tuesday) AFTERNOON at 2 o'clock. Friends of the family 
are invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
