MRS. ARTHUR W. GRIFFITH
SUMMERVILLE - Virginia R. Griffith, widow of Arthur W. Griffith, died Tuesday at a 
local hospital. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in St. 
Paul's Episcopal Church in Summerville, according to Parks Funeral Home.
Mrs. Griffith was born Dec. 19, 1912, in Canton, Ohio, a daughter of Douglas 
Robbins and Pauline Phelps Robbins. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal 
Church and of the Timrod Library Board.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Thomas Levy of New York; a son, Arthur W. 
Griffith of Chicago, Ill.; and two grandchildren.
