He was a member of the Italian Benevolent Society. He is survived by two brothers, Eugenio and Vincent Grillo, of Norfolk; one sister, Mrs. Michael Caprio, of Portsmouth and several nieces and nephews. The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for services tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 8 o'clock. ************************************************************************ Rocco Grillo - Funeral services for Mr. Grillo, who died Saturday at a local hospital, were held Monday morning at 10 o’clock at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Rev. T. P. Scannell, officiating. The Rev. E. P. Kilgalen was celebrant of the mass. The text of Father Scannell’s address at the conclusion of the mass was “Preparedness for Death.” During the service, E. Vincent Smith sang, “Veni Jesu” and “Benedictus,” with J. Harvey Stevens as organist. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with clusters of Easter lilies, pink roses and fern. A delegation from the Italian Benevolent Society was in attendance. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Services at the grave were conducted by Father Scannell. The pallbearers were Felix ReDavid, Felix Caprio, Domenic P. Lascara, Nicholas Granata, Joseph Caprio, Antonio Casolaro, Santo LoCascio and John Demaio.
