Eugene Grillo, USA, son of Mrs. and Mrs. Eugene Grillo, of 2008 Omohundro Avenue, will reach Norfolk this morning. He was killed in action in Northern Germany on April 15, 1945, while serving with the 12th Armored Division, 44th Tank Battalion, of the Seventh Army. A lifelong resident of Norfolk, he was born June 18, 1922, attended John Marshall and Maury High Schools. He entered the Army in October, 1942 and received his basic training at Camp Campbell, Ky., later being transferred to Abilene, Texas. From there he was sent overseas. Besides his parents, he is survived by three brothers, Antonio, Bennie and Robert Joseph Grillo and five sisters, Miss Louise Grillo, Mrs. Mary Williams, Mrs. Teresa Willcox, Mrs. Josephine Warren and Mrs. Virginia Wise. The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for services tomorrow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery with military honors. Rosary services will be held at the Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 7:30 o'clock.
