Norfolk Journal and Guide, Nov 16,1957
Charles Grimes, 1306 Chapel Street, died November 4 (per death certificate DOD 
11/03/1957) in a local hospital.  Funeral services were held Sunday, Nov. 10 
at St. Stevens Church with the pastor, Rev. Earley Whitehurst, officiating.

Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Tennie Grimes;  five daughters, Magdeline, 
Mary, Ruth, Martha, and Agnes.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with the Riddick Funeral Service, in charge.
