She was a native of South Norfolk and lived her entire life in the area. She retired after 40 years as a secretary with Security Insurance Agency. She was a member of Chesapeake Avenue United Methodist Church. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. D.H. Starboard and Miss Pearl Grimes, both of Chesapeake. A funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Graham Funeral Home, Chesapeake by Dr. Owen T. Kelly. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. It is noted the year of death on the tombstone is in error.
