Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Monday, November 3, 2003
Mary E. Grimes of the 2200 block of Farmers Lane, died Oct. 31, 2003 in Lake
Taylor Transitional Care Hospital.

She was born in Norfolk and had retired from Seatack Elementary School, Virginia
Beach. She was a member of Rock Church, Virginia Beach.

Survivors include a sister, Martha Grimes, and a brother, James Grimes, both of
Norfolk; a niece, Verita Grimes and nephews, Keith Grimes and Xavier Grimes, all
of Norfolk; and two great-nieces.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home
Chapel by Dr. George Thompson. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The remains
will be ready for viewing from 3:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. The family will assemble
at 7479 Hughart St. at 11 a.m. for the processional. www.carlosahowardfuneral
