Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, September 23, 1998 
Magdalene Grimes of the 7400 block of Hughart St., died Sept. 20, 1998, in
DePaul Medical Center.

Born in Norfolk, she was of the Holiness faith.

Survivors include two sisters, Mary E. Grimes of Chesapeake and Martha Grimes of
Norfolk; one brother, James Grimes of Norfolk; two nephews; one niece; one
great-niece; cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at First Church of Christ Holiness
U.S.A. by the Rev. Dr. George Thompson. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The
body will be ready for viewing Thursday at 3 p.m. The body will be taken to the
church at 11 a.m. and the family will assemble at the residence at noon for the
procession. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk, is in charge
