Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark December 26, 1915

Calvert L. Grimstead, 41 years old, was found dead in his room, 912 East Main 
Street, at 1 o'clock yesterday morning.  Dr. R.S. Kight, city coroner, viewed 
the body and gave a certificate of death due to natural causes.  He is 
survived by two brothers, Marshall and John Grimstead and one sister, Mrs. 
H.J. Doolan, all of Norfolk.
The funeral will take place at H.C. Smith's Funeral Apartments. 306 Bank 
Street, at 3 o'clock this afternoon.  Services will be conducted by Rev. J.T. 
Anderson of the Park Avenue Baptist Church.  Burial will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
